The Claudio Arrau León Museum, located at Claudio Arrau Street No. 558 in Chillán, pays tribute to the great pianist from Chillán who became an international reference in classical music. The museum was inaugurated in December 2005 and stands on the site of Arrau's birth home, preserving part of the original structure and rebuilding the rooms to house the artist's memory. There, visitors can delve into his life, discover his beginnings, his career, and his musical legacy.

The site houses personal belongings of Arrau such as clothing, original scores, instruments, books, and furniture that he used in his day. It also features an interactive room that allows visitors to dynamically learn about the maestro's work, and a music archive that gathers more than six thousand scores, some with Arrau's own annotations, offering deep insight into this artist's creative process. The museum has also become an active center within the cultural community: it offers workshops, activities for children and young people, visual art exhibitions, and concerts that complement its heritage character.
